Yoga is the art and science of the mind and body that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. By steadying the mind, controlling the breath, and moving correctly through a series of poses (asanas), one can achieve greater mental clarity, physical strength, and a greater sense of calm and purpose.
As originally taught, personal, one-on-one Yoga allows the teacher to accomodate different levels of practice as well as provide safe, individual attention for the practioner. Each and every private Yoga session is personalized to the clients capabilities and needs for that individual session and beyond.
Traditional Restorative begins with awareness of breath and positive mantra and leads into warming of the spine, strengthening, and deep stretching, followed by a 5 - 10 min. Savasana and closing meditation that will leave you refreshed, relaxed and renewed

Through Yoga Therapy we are able to target specific issues and create a personalized Yoga routine using breathing techniques and specific stretches and/or strengthening asanas which will most benefit the client as needed. We will work together to solidify the understanding & correct expression of the pose and modify as needed.
